Masterclass Summary

A 55 min masterclass with proven techniques to...
Create mind-space for deep work,
Improve creative and strategic thinking, and
Incorporate any new habit into your day in a sustainable way.

If you've started and stopped... and then started and stopped any new habit, you have most likely thought you're lazy, busy or lacking in will-power. This self-blame then leads to a plummeting self-belief. No, you're not lazy or lacking in will-power... and I'm not saying that to be nice. My statement has a basis in science which I uncover in this course offering.

Despite being busy, it is indeed possible to start and sustain new habits using research-backed techniques based on ground-breaking work by -
Stanford Alumnus, George McKeown, author of the book, Essentialism
Pulitzer Prize Winner, Charles Duhigg, author of the book, The Power of Habit
New York Times Bestselling Author, James Clear who wrote the book, Atomic Habits

Who is this for?

- You are process-oriented, and do not like to do things haphazardly
- Following routines is calming to you, and creating structure to your day gives you a sense of control
- You find yourself wanting more time for deep, strategic, and/or creative work
- You have a love for learning, and a curious mind but don't find the time to pick up new courses or certifications
- You find yourself starting and stopping healthy habits and/or hobbies, and would like to find ways of sustaining the momentum

This masterclass has been accessed by ~100 people across the world, and has been a part of my 6 and 12 week coaching programme. I am now making this available to anyone who'd like to access it even if they aren't working with me 1:1 over a long term coaching engagement.

Curriculum

In this training, I explain how procrastination is the biggest cause for poor self-confidence and low self-belief… because when we don’t keep a commitment we said we would, we let ourselves down.

This training has content in *addition* to what I cover in the masterclass, and will not only give you an insight into my teaching style but also provide you with an actionable step that you can carry out starting today to prevent procrastination!

What I cover in this masterclass

- How to create space in your day, and not be living in a constant catch-up mode
- 15 min strategies to increase your ability to concentrate, stay centred, and engage in deep work
- How to have more control over your day, reduce decision-fatigue, and increase peace of mind

- Why promising yourself that you'll start that 'new habit' at 6am or 6pm or, for that matter, at any 'time' of the day sets you up for failure
- How to get rid of the guilt of not doing enough
- How to quieten the inner self-critic (and no, this does not involve affirmations)

- How the contrarian philosophy of 'less is more' can actually help you get everything done when you have a lot on your plate
- Red flags to look out for when you're starting new habits so as to ensure that you aren't biting more than you can chew
- How to enlist others when you're trying to form new habits... and who to avoid!

Bonuses

As you start this journey of adding and sustaining new habits, you're likely to encounter a couple of obstacles. I've created special bonuses to address these very obstacles -

Obstacle 1 - Difficulty in sustaining a new habit and our inherent tendency to want to blame it to laziness, busyness, or lack of will-power.
Bonus 1 A one pager explaining the science behind why it's difficult to form new habits even when we have the best of intentions... and why it's not laziness, busyness or lack of will-power but the way our brains are wired which prevents us from sustaining new habits. This document will go a long way in helping you be kind to yourself as you start this journey, and shall remind you to not beat yourself up every time the going gets tough.

Obstacle 2 - Difficulty and associated cynicism in re-starting a habit every time you veer off the path.
Bonus 2 - It's exciting to start a new challenge but very difficult to scale the same mountain again and again... i.e. to say it's hard to start a habit again after getting off it. In this one-pager, I explain exactly what you need to do to set yourself up for success from the get-go, and life-proof your habits so that you can sustain them regardless of what happens.

This is a real chunk of wisdom not only with respect to stacking habits in our routine but also dealing with some of the situations in real life.

My pricing is based on Purchasing Power Parity and not Currency Conversion Rate. Most multinational brands price their products based on this.

That's why, when you buy a packet of Maggi noodles (or anything else for that matter) outside India, it is not an exact currency conversion of the INR amount that it's sold for in India but rather adjusted to purchasing power parity.

For eg. a can of coke costs about ₹50 in India and about $2 in the US. This is different from currency conversion because ₹50 is much lesser than a dollar.

So the purchasing power parity right now between INR and USD is about ₹25 which means that the value of ₹25 is about the same as value of $1 in terms of what you can buy from it. And that's how this course is priced as well.
